Implicit predictors in regularized data-driven predictive control

چکیده

We introduce the notion of implicit predictors, which characterize input-(state)-output prediction behavior underlying a predictive control scheme, even if it is not explicitly enforced as an equality constraint (as in traditional model or subspace control). To demonstrate this concept, we derive and analyze predictors for some basic data-driven (DPC) schemes, offers new perspective on popular approach that may form basis modified DPC schemes further theoretical insights.

Data-Driven Plant-Model Mismatch Quantification in Model Predictive Control

In this paper, we present a novel data-driven approach for estimating plant-model mismatch for linear MIMO systems operating under constrained MPC. We begin with analyzing the closed-loop plant data; under the assumption that changes in the active set of constraints of the controller are due to (low frequency) setpoint changes, we separate the data into a finite number of fixed active set (FAS)...

Data-driven Direct Adaptive Model Based Predictive Control

This paper is concerned with the design of Direct Adaptive Model Based Predictive Control (DAMBPC) using subspace identification technique to identify and implement the controller parameters. The direct identification of controller parameters reduces the design effort and computation load which is usually involved with classical adaptive control techniques. The proposed method requires a single...

Learning Model Predictive Control for Iterative Tasks. A Data-Driven Control Framework

A Learning Model Predictive Controller (LMPC) for iterative tasks is presented. The controller is referencefree and is able to improve its performance by learning from previous iterations. A safe set and a terminal cost function are used in order to guarantee recursive feasibility and nondecreasing performance at each iteration. The paper presents the control design approach, and shows how to r...

Control-Driven Data Flow

This paper presents CDDF, a model of computation underpinning the formal seman-tics of a number of parallel programming languages. CDDF integrates control ow elements for thedynamic construction of task graphs, and data ow elements to express dependent computationsand to decouple these using unbounded streams (Kahn process networks). It is a common groundto de ne the formal sema...

The Implicit Daisy-Chaining Property of Constrained Predictive Control

Systems with redundant control actuators are sometimes arranged so that a new actuator comes into play if the one normally used becomes saturated. We call this ‘daisy-chaining’. Such an arrangement also provides a degree of faulttolerance against actuator failures. This paper points out that a similar property is implicit in constrained predictive control, as it is usually formulated. Predictiv...
